The SP9 Valvestino will reopen to traffic on Monday, December 16, at 1 PM, following a closure that began in September due to landslides caused by bad weather. The road connecting Gargnano to Magasa will be passable with alternating one-way traffic, and time slots will be established to ensure safety during the restoration work on the roadway.
From December 16 to December 22, traffic will be restricted from 8 AM to 12 PM and from 1 PM to 5 PM, with limitations also applying to heavy vehicles. Subsequently, from December 23 to January 6, the road will remain open with alternating one-way traffic but without the designated time slots. Finally, starting January 7, the time restrictions will return until further notice. Additionally, a further two-week closure is planned after the holiday season to complete the work, depending on the progress of the construction site and weather conditions.
