Race against time on the SP9: bulldozers at work to reopen the road to Valvestino and Magasa by Christmas. Residents of the two municipalities, located at the northern edge of the Alto Garda Park, have been cut off from the lakeshore for over three months due to landslides that affected the roadway. Today, December 4th, restoration operations have commenced with the deployment of bulldozers, which are working to widen the road near the landslide located at the thirteenth kilometer.
Since September, the inhabitants of Valvestino and Magasa have been forced to use alternative routes through Capovalle and the Valle Sabbia to access essential services on the lake, significantly increasing travel times. The goal is to complete the work and reopen the SP9 before the Christmas holidays, thereby ensuring direct access to the lakeshore for residents.
