On the occasion of the anniversary of the birth of the Italian Republic, the Municipality of Salò is organizing a series of events to celebrate this important occasion. The Municipal Administration, in collaboration with the local Armed Forces, invites all citizens to participate in the activities scheduled for Sunday, June 2, 2024.
The celebrations will begin at 10:00 am with the gathering in Piazza Serenissima. From there, at 10:10 am, a procession accompanied by the City Band will lead the participants to Piazza Vittoria.
Ceremonies and speeches
At 10:30 am, the flag-raising ceremony and the laying of a wreath in memory of the citizens, soldiers, and civilians who have fallen for the country, both in Italy and abroad, will take place. Official speeches are also expected during this solemn occasion.
Concert at the Loggiato della Magnifica Patria
The morning will conclude with a concert at 11:00 am at the Loggiato della Magnifica Patria. The “Gasparo Bertolotti” Youth Band, together with the Wind Orchestra conducted by Maestros Angelo Bolciaghi and Gian Piero Guerra, will offer a musical performance to celebrate the day.
