Two young individuals were rescued on the morning of Friday, November 1st, after becoming stranded at an altitude of approximately 1200 meters, between Vobarno and Toscolano Maderno. The boys raised the alarm using the GeoResQ app, indicating their critical situation on a ledge along the trail from Fobiola to Passo Spino, where they were unable to either descend or ascend.
Rescue operations were initiated around 10 a.m., with technicians from the V Brescia Delegation of the Alpine Rescue intervening, along with a helicopter from the Guardia di Finanza, accompanied by personnel from the Sagf. After being located in the ravine, the two young men were harnessed and safely transported back to Vobarno, without sustaining any injuries.
