The “Time Out” initiative returns on February 17, a project launched in 2010 in response to the needs of a group of parents, which has received support from the municipal administration of Riva del Garda. Managed by Apsp Casa Mia, this program aims to address the relational challenges that arise with adolescent children, providing a space for growth and discussion.
## Meeting Details
The event will take place at the Casa Mia headquarters, located at Viale Trento 26. The first meeting of 2025 will feature two distinct sessions: the meeting for adolescents will be held at 5:30 PM, while the session for parents will take place at 8:30 PM. These educational moments will be led by Pietro Lombardo, an educator and founder of the Evolution Study Center in Verona.
## Topics Addressed
The theme for the adolescent meeting will be **”Words that Unite: How to Communicate Better in Family and Social Relationships.”** During this session, participants will learn practical tools to enhance their communication skills within family and social dynamics. Through concrete exercises and interactive discussions, adolescents will have the opportunity to express their thoughts and feelings more effectively.
In parallel, the workshop for parents will tackle the theme **”Communicating with Adolescents: Effective Strategies for Parents.”** This meeting is particularly relevant as open and empathetic communication can positively influence the well-being and development of young people during this delicate phase of their lives. Parents will learn useful techniques to establish a constructive dialogue with their children, thereby fostering a relationship based on mutual trust.
