Riva del Garda is gearing up to host the third edition of the “Six-Legged Marathon”, a charity event dedicated to dogs and their owners, scheduled for Sunday, October 15. The event aims to support the Lions Guide Dog Service of Limbiate, located in the Province of Monza and Brianza. The 6 km walk will kick off at 11:00 AM, with registration opening at 9:30 AM. Interested participants can register on-site or at the L’Isola dei Tesori stores in Rovereto and Riva del Garda.
Each participating dog will receive a badge, a commemorative t-shirt, and various goodies, while the initiative requests a voluntary donation for each registered animal. The proceeds will be entirely donated to the training center for guide dogs destined for blind and visually impaired individuals. The event is organized by the Lions Club of Trentino with the sponsorship of the Municipality of Riva del Garda, thereby promoting solidarity through a day dedicated to the love of animals.
