Starting from January 6, Riva del Garda will host a solidarity collection of balls, blankets, and school supplies to support the “I’m Here” project, promoted by the volunteers of Apsp Casa Mia in collaboration with the Alto Garda and Ledro Missionary Group. Until the end of February, anyone wishing to contribute can visit the Kalipè socio-educational center located on Viale Trento to donate 26 balls (both soccer and volleyball), wool blankets, and school supplies (excluding markers).
The “I’m Here” project, active since 2008, aims to promote active citizenship and solidarity through various volunteer initiatives. Among its objectives is the support of humanitarian activities in Tanzania, where the Alto Garda and Ledro Missionary Group has implemented numerous projects aimed at improving the living conditions of local communities. Recently, they completed significant works such as the construction of school dormitories and healthcare infrastructures, thus continuing their ongoing commitment to providing tangible assistance to those in need.
