On Sunday, May 26th, from 10 am to 5 pm, the Aretè Family Center in Riva del Garda will once again host the Family Festival, an eagerly awaited annual event that will take place at Via Brione 24. This year’s initiative will have a special significance as it marks the beginning of the celebrations for the twentieth anniversary of Apsp Casa Mia’s summer services.
The event is organized by the Alto Garda and Ledro Family District and will involve the participation of numerous local organizations. Among the protagonists will be the Aretè Family Center, the territorial socio-educational centers, the Time Out adolescent group, the “I’m here” volunteering project, and the “I’m listening” initiatives for parents. In addition, associations such as the Oratorio Don P. Mazzolari Circle and the La Bacionela Club will be present.
The activities will begin at 10 am with a series of workshops and experiences designed for all ages. Participants can take part in “Natural-mente,” a guided hunt for aromatic herbs led by Kaleidos, or try their hand at making coconut truffles with La Girandola. For the more creative, there will be a workshop with colored lenses organized by Aretè. Outdoor games and baby dance moments curated by Punto X and “I’m here” will also be available. Parents can also take part in “Che rabbia!,” a space dedicated to chatting and creativity with “I’m listening.”
Lunch will be served from 12:30 pm to 1:30 pm thanks to the collaboration between the Time Out adolescent group and the La Bacionela Club.
In the afternoon, from 1:30 pm to 4:15 pm, the activities will continue with additional baby dance sessions managed by “I’m here” and new culinary workshops for the preparation of coconut truffles with La Girandola. Book lovers can create fantasy bookmarks in the creative workshop conducted by Jenga, while the more curious can discover hidden messages through a game with lenses organized by Aretè.
Chiara Parisi will lead “Al parco in primavera,” a nature workshop that will allow participants to explore the surrounding nature. Outdoor games will continue with the support of the Oratorio Don P. Mazzolari Circle.
At 4:30 pm, a special snack will be held to celebrate the twentieth anniversary of Apsp Casa Mia’s Summer Centers.
Available spots are limited, so it is advisable to book directly upon arrival at the event venue.
For those who plan to participate regardless of the weather conditions, it is suggested to bring an umbrella in case of rain.
