A traffic accident occurred in Bedizzole last night when a 29-year-old man was struck around 10:30 PM while he was along the roadside between via Brescia and via Valtenesi. The driver involved, a 61-year-old Italian man, continued driving without stopping to assist the injured party. Investigations carried out by the Carabinieri of the Desenzano Company led to the identification of the hit-and-run driver, who has since been reported.
The 29-year-old, seriously injured in the incident, was urgently transported in critical condition to the Civile Hospital in Brescia, where he is currently hospitalized.
