A serious road accident occurred on Christmas Day in Solferino, along the Circonvallazione Cavallara road, between the districts of Grole and Cunettone. Shortly after 1:00 PM, a 31-year-old female driver lost control of her vehicle and veered off the road. Her condition was assessed by rescuers as more severe than initially expected, necessitating the intervention of a helicopter ambulance for urgent transport.
Currently, the woman is hospitalized at the Spedali Civili in Brescia; fortunately, her life is not in danger. Carabinieri from Castiglione delle Stiviere responded to the scene to conduct the necessary investigations. As per protocol, toxicological tests have been requested to determine whether the driver had consumed alcohol prior to the accident.
