An episode of theft occurred yesterday morning in Desenzano, when three young criminals in a Fiat 500 attempted to steal a wallet from a Chinese woman. The victim reacted promptly, clinging to the hood of the moving car and being dragged for about a hundred meters. To avoid worse consequences, the thieves abandoned both the car and the woman’s wallet and fled on foot.
The incident took place at the intersection of Via Marconi, Via Dal Molin, and Via Anelli, near the weekly market. Witnesses observed the scene, and a passerby immediately alerted the authorities. The Police Station is now investigating the incident after seizing the vehicle abandoned by the thieves, which is suspected to be stolen. Efforts to locate the perpetrators are ongoing.
