The Mart in Rovereto is gearing up for a December filled with new developments, with the opening of the exhibition “Etruscans of the Twentieth Century” starting on December 7. This exhibition marks the return of the museum’s collections, which have undergone significant renewal: the second floor has been expanded and illuminated to showcase over 400 works in a chronological journey from the 19th century to contemporary art. The new display also includes the modernization of the Casa d’Arte Futurista Depero and the reopening of the Archive of the ‘900, both now accessible to the public.
The updated exhibition route at the Mart features iconic works such as “Venus” by Francesco Hayez and significant pieces of Italian modern art, offering an overview of the artistic trends of the 20th century. Additionally, the Casa Depero enriches the experience with a focus on the relationship between Depero and the writer Gilbert Clavel, while the Archive of the ‘900 provides insights into the most innovative artistic movements. These initiatives reaffirm the Mart’s commitment to promoting modern and contemporary art through engaging and well-curated art exhibitions.
