The municipal council of Castelnuovo del Garda has approved a project for the safety enhancement of the Campanello harbor, with a total investment of 212,000 euros. The funding primarily comes from the Veneto Region, with the remainder provided by the municipality. The planned interventions include sediment dredging, upgrading of the lighting, maintenance of the mooring elements, and cleaning of the quay.
The councilor for lakeside resorts and tourist infrastructures, Domenico Pagnotta, emphasized the importance of these works for the revitalization of the harbor, promising that they will be carried out swiftly and with care. The project has already received approval from the relevant authorities, such as the Civil Engineering Department and Arpav.
