Salò participated in the National Day of Food Collection, thanks to the efforts of the local Alpini group, which set up two stands for collecting donations near the 2 Pini Shopping Center and at the Cunettone Shopping Center. The initiative took place with the aim of supporting those in need, also involving the youth from the parish at the supermarket in Piazza Martiri della Libertà.
The event seeks to raise awareness in the community about the issue of poverty, promoting values such as sharing and charity. This year, among the products requested for donations are oil, canned vegetables or legumes, tomato preserves, canned tuna or meat, and baby food. The active participation of citizens is essential for the success of this important solidarity initiative.
