The cultural series “Man, Environment, and Nature: A Possible Balance” will begin on Thursday, January 6, at 8:30 PM at the library in Salò, organized in collaboration with the Italian Alpine Club. This cycle of meetings, which will take place every Thursday evening until April, aims to promote awareness of the local mountains and to raise public consciousness about current issues related to the balance between environment and nature. The first evening will feature Paola Favero, a forest ranger and mountaineer, as the speaker, who will discuss the challenges of climate change.
The program also includes other significant events, such as the screening of the documentary “Dangerously Close” on February 20 at the auditorium of the “Enrico Fermi” High School. The film explores the complex dynamics between humans and wildlife, while subsequent meetings will address various aspects related to the health of mountain ecosystems and coexistence with wildlife. All events are free of charge until seating capacity is reached.
