An incident involving falling debris occurred on the afternoon of Sunday, April 20, along the Zanardelli lakeside in Salò, when some fragments detached from the cornice of the building housing Bar Italia. Fortunately, no injuries have been reported among residents or passing tourists, but to ensure public safety, a temporary closure of the affected section and the outdoor seating areas of the establishment was implemented.
The response from the firefighters and local police was swift, arriving on the scene to assess the situation. Using a fire truck, the rescuers were able to verify the safety conditions of the building from which the debris had fallen. The alert was lifted around 5 PM, allowing the area to reopen without further issues.
