This morning, the mayor of Salò, Giacomo Cagnini, conducted an inspection at the Anas construction site to assess the progress of the safety works on the Gardesana State Road. Following the exceptional weather events that hit the area last Sunday, it was necessary to close the section between Via Del Seminario and Via Renzano due to a landslide.
The safety intervention began immediately after the landslide and resulted in the diversion of traffic, including heavy vehicles, through the historic center of Salò. Today’s inspection confirmed that the works are progressing according to schedule.
During the on-site inspection, Anas technicians assured that the road will reopen at 6 p.m. on Friday, June 28. This news has been met with relief by the local community and city authorities.
The Municipality of Salò expressed gratitude to all those who worked tirelessly to resolve this emergency. Special thanks were extended to Anas technicians and the company responsible for the works, as well as the municipal technical office and the local police for their constant commitment.
