Salò: Recruitment Campaign Launched for Local Businesses In anticipation of the upcoming tourist season, a new recruitment campaign has been initiated by the Salò Promotion merchants’ association, aimed at those seeking job opportunities in the tourism and retail sectors. Currently, there are over 50 open positions available, including bartenders, waiters, chefs, and shop assistants. Interested candidates can send their Curriculum Vitae along with a passport-sized photo to the email address provided by the association, which will forward the applications to the businesses with vacancies.
This initiative arises from the challenges faced by business owners in finding qualified personnel and aims to stimulate local employment. President Andrea Maggioni emphasized the importance of placing “the right person in the right position” to ensure that tourists have a memorable experience in a professional environment. Furthermore, recent updates to the National Contracts have resulted in increased wages and worker protections, making the sector more appealing. Maggioni highlighted that working in this field can offer not only professional opportunities but also significant human experiences.
