Salò is gearing up for a new tourist season, with over 50 job openings for seasonal work in the commercial and restaurant sectors. The “Salò Promotion” association has launched a campaign to gather applications, highlighting the increasing difficulty in finding collaborators despite the elimination of the citizenship income and recent wage increases stipulated by national contracts. Andrea Maggioni, the association’s president, emphasizes that the success of commercial activities depends on the quality of the staff, which is essential for providing visitors with a memorable experience.
The local labor market reflects a national trend, with estimates indicating the need for 300,000 seasonal workers in Italy each year, of which about a quarter remains unfilled. In January, over 11,200 hires are expected in the province of Brescia in the tourism and commerce sectors. The CV collection campaign by Salò Promotion aims to facilitate the meeting between potential workers and local establishments seeking qualified personnel. Interested individuals can send their resumes to the association to be considered for available opportunities.
