As January approaches, the enrollment period for the 2025/2026 school year opens, marking a crucial moment for families. Applications can be submitted from January 8 to January 31 through the Unica platform, as established by the Ministry of Education. Parents have the opportunity to enroll their children online in the initial classes of primary school, as well as in state secondary schools of both first and second levels, vocational education and training programs, and private schools that choose to use the online system.
To access the Unica platform, it is necessary to use credentials such as SPID, CIE, or CNS. However, for enrollment in preschool and for certain specific situations in the Autonomous Province of Trento, a paper procedure must be followed, which should be submitted directly to the school offices. The platform also offers useful informational resources to help families in choosing the most suitable school for their children’s needs, which can be consulted on the Ministry of Education and Merit’s portal.
