A serious scooter accident involving an 80-year-old man occurred in Riva del Garda yesterday, Tuesday, December 3rd. The man lost control of the vehicle while traveling along provincial road 240, near the San Giacomo area, and fell violently onto the asphalt. To allow for emergency services and investigations by the carabinieri, the stretch of road was temporarily closed.
After a call for help from passersby, emergency medical personnel arrived and found the elderly man unconscious. He was then airlifted in critical condition to Santa Chiara Hospital in Trento, where he is currently hospitalized in serious condition. Authorities are still reconstructing the dynamics of the incident to clarify the causes that led to the fall.
