The 3rd edition of the Sentierino Trail, part of the Uisp trail running Challenge, recently took place, attracting 120 athletes competing on a 15 km course with an elevation gain of 800 meters. The event, organized by the Padile Running Team, featured an exciting competition in the men’s category, marked by a navigation error among the leading runners. Davide Bottarelli from Atletica Valtrompia secured first place with a time of 1h16’12”, successfully repeating his victory from the previous year. Massimiliano Corsini and Giuseppe Pedretti completed the men’s podium in second and third place, respectively.
In the women’s category, Monica Vagni from Atletica Paratico triumphed with a time of 1h39’15”. Alina Natalia Feier, an athlete from Garda Running, claimed second place with a time of 1h54’58”, followed by Lucia Dozio from Team Avis Treviglio. Both winners were honored as the best athletes of the year 2024 by the Gruppo Amici Podisti Bresciani during a ceremony held last Friday.
