A serial fraudster, A. F.R., a 46-year-old man from the province of Naples, has been arrested in Gargnano after being recognized by the staff at Hotel Bogliaco. The man would pretend to be a manager of prestigious companies in order to stay in luxury hotels without paying the bill. Already known to the authorities for similar crimes in other Italian regions, A. F.R. had recently appeared on Rai, making it easier for him to be identified.
On June 13th, the hotel owner alerted the Carabinieri, who promptly arrived and took the man from his room to the police station. During the intervention, it was revealed that the car used by the fraudster had been rented and never returned. Prior to this incident, A. F.R. had already received 32 expulsion orders from various municipalities in the province of Bolzano for similar offenses.
