Starting from April 4th, students in the Ledro Valley will have access to a shuttle service that will connect Molina and the upper valley. This service will be available from Monday to Saturday, coinciding with the regular bus routes used by high school students from Riva del Garda.
The initiative was launched by Trentino Trasporti at the request of the Province and the Municipality of Ledro, in order to provide a transportation service that is compatible with the current road situation. In fact, the state road 240 in the Ledro Valley is still closed between Molina di Ledro and Mezzolago due to a rockslide. The only road accessible to cars and vehicles weighing less than 75 quintals is the municipal road of Pur.
This shuttle will allow students to return home in the afternoon, facilitating their transportation despite the closure of the state road. In addition, a new direct route will be established from Riva del Garda to Arco for Pieve di Bono-Storo via Sarche-Tione on school days from Monday to Friday.
Trentino Trasporti has also modified the service to ensure all school connections within the valley for all schools present. Furthermore, six daily connections have been scheduled between the upper valley and Riva del Garda.
The shuttle service between Molina di Ledro and the upper valley will remain active until the reopening of the state road 240. The departure times are as follows: departure from Molina at 13:12 in conjunction with the bus from Riva del Garda at 12:45 (with two minibuses); departure from Molina at 13:52 in conjunction with the bus from Riva del Garda at 13:25 (three minibuses); departure from Molina at 14:40 in conjunction with the bus from Riva del Garda at 14:13 (four minibuses).
This service will allow students in the Ledro Valley to have access to appropriate transportation during the closure of the state road, ensuring their attendance at classes and facilitating their return home in the afternoon. You can find more information here.
