Yesterday, the “Sport and Accessible Tourism” open day took place in Sirmione, offering a unique opportunity for people with motor disabilities to experience the thrill of sailing in complete autonomy.
The event, organized by Sailability Onlus and the Italian Naval League, Brescia – Desenzano Section, provided people with motor disabilities the chance to safely sail boats with the guidance of qualified instructors.
The initiative took place from 10:00 am to 12:30 pm and from 2:30 pm to 4:30 pm, and was endorsed by the Municipality of Sirmione. During the open day, participants had the chance to have a unique experience on the waters of Lake Garda, learning the basics of sailing and enjoying the beauty of the surrounding landscape.
