The 16th edition of the Sirmione Photography Award has been officially presented, renewing the engagement with one of the main events dedicated to photography on the Lake Garda. This year, the award is enhanced by six competitions that celebrate the passion for photography and the local area, offering a diverse schedule of initiatives, including exhibitions and thematic meetings. Among the scheduled events, the inauguration of the exhibition “Dog Dogs” by photographer Elliott Erwitt on March 15 at Palazzo Callas Exhibitions stands out, followed by a series of discussions on travel photography in April.
A significant new feature is the TEENS PHOTO MARATHON, set for Sunday, April 13, aimed at young photographers under 18. With two distinct categories and prizes offered by prestigious partners such as New Free Photo and Fujifilm, the contest aims to engage young people with the art of photography. The Sirmione Photography Award thus continues to be an important reference point for enthusiasts and professionals alike, helping to showcase the beauty of the area through creative and original shots.
