This morning around 8:30 in Sirmione, a 37-year-old worker fell from a height of about four meters during maintenance work at the Villa Callas complex, located at 9 Via Catullo. The accident occurred due to the sudden collapse of a grate. The worker suffered serious injuries to the face, chest, pelvis, and upper limbs.
Immediately after the incident, the medical car and ambulance arrived at the scene and transported the injured person in critical condition to the Civil Hospital of Brescia. The Carabinieri of the Desenzano Company and technicians also arrived at the scene to carry out the necessary investigations and determine the cause of the grate’s collapse.
