Soiano del Lago: by the end of summer, fiber optic will cover the entire municipal area. The Municipality has announced that, before the start of the summer season, work will begin to extend fiber optic throughout the territory, marking a significant step towards the digitalization of the community. This initiative will ensure ultra-broadband connectivity not only for the Soiano Kindergarten and Primary School but also for all residences and businesses, including the artisan areas along Via Brescia. With an investment of €420,000 fully funded by the Lombardy Region, the work will take place with minimal impact on the road surface, utilizing existing underground services.
In addition to the communication network upgrades, the Municipality has recently launched a new website in compliance with AGID guidelines to enhance the accessibility of digital services for citizens. Among the new features is a personal area dedicated to users, where they can view payment receipts and documents related to ongoing procedures. Furthermore, with the Smart Agenda, appointments at the Municipality can be booked online, thereby simplifying access to public services and reducing waiting times.
