Regione Lombardia has announced a series of events to support innovative startups, called ‘Startup Days’, which will take place on October 23 and 29 in Milan. During the first event, the final of the StartCup Lombardia 2024 will be held, where the finalist startups will present their projects to a jury of experts and investors, with the chance to win a cash prize. The second day will be dedicated to ‘FutureMatch – Connect Today, Create Tomorrow’, an initiative aimed at facilitating direct contact between startups and investors, including sessions on programs such as Berkeley SkyDeck Europe and the Green Chemistry Competition.
The Councillor for Economic Development, Guido Guidesi, emphasized the importance of these initiatives in promoting entrepreneurship and fostering the creation of an innovative ecosystem in Lombardy. Collaboration with universities and public and private partners is essential to tackle current challenges related to environmental and social sustainability. These events represent a significant step towards strengthening innovation in the region, contributing to both local and international economic growth.
