Positive feedback for “La Prima del Valtènesi,” the preview event for the new vintage of rosé from the Riviera Bresciana del Garda. The event, reserved for industry professionals and operators, was held at the Casa del Vino Valtènesi in Puegnago del Garda.
42 producers presented the Valtènesi wines from the 2023 vintage and some previous vintages to restaurateurs, retailers, and journalists in the charming setting of Villa Galnica, the headquarters of the Consortium for protection. After two successful years at the Mille Miglia Museum in Brescia, the Consortium decided to bring the event back home, convinced that the beauty of the territory is an irreplaceable element for showcasing the wine.
The next important event for the Consortium will be Vinitaly, which will take place in Verona from April 14th to 17th. There will be 27 companies present at the Lombardy Region Palaexpo, with over 60 labels available for free tasting at the Consortium stand, inspired by the enotourism spirit linked to the Garda territory.
During Vinitaly, Valtènesi will be the protagonist of two important events. On Monday, the 15th at 11 am, there will be a dialogue between the two unique Wine Houses of Lombardy: Valtènesi and Buttafuoco Storico. On Tuesday, the 16th at 3 pm, “Valtènesi Experience” will take place, a taste workshop in collaboration with Gambero Rosso, during which the future of rosé wine will be discussed while tasting a selection of Valtènesi wines paired with typical products.
The Prima del Valtènesi received positive feedback, and now the Consortium is preparing for the important appointment of Vinitaly, where it will have the opportunity to present its wines and promote the territory of the Riviera Bresciana del Garda.
