Recently, a strong debate has emerged regarding sustainable mobility and the challenges of housing access for young people in Alto Garda, involving the municipalities of Riva, Arco, Tenno, Dro, and Nago-Torbole. The project “Towards a Culture of Sustainable Mobility and Housing in Alto Garda,” coordinated by Coop Smart of Rovereto and sponsored by the Municipality of Arco and the Caritro Foundation of Rovereto, aims to investigate issues related to living and working for individuals aged 20 to 40. Through a questionnaire directed at the youth of the area, the goal is to collect data on their socio-economic conditions and the resources available to them.
To delve deeper into these topics, three informational evenings are scheduled at the youth center Cantiere26 in Arco on February 19 and March 5, focusing respectively on mobility and work from a youth perspective. Additionally, on April 6, a day dedicated to sustainable mobility will take place. These initiatives represent an important opportunity to explore how housing choices impact the lives of young people in the region and what solutions can be implemented to improve the current situation.
