The second stage of the Propaganda Circuit for swimming took place in Salò, an event that saw the participation of 120 boys and girls aged 6 to 12 at the pools of the Canottieri Salò Sports Center. This initiative, promoted by the Italian Swimming Federation (FIN), aimed to introduce younger participants to the sport in a less formal environment compared to competitive events, providing them with the opportunity to engage in individual races across various strokes, including backstroke, butterfly, freestyle, and breaststroke. Seven sports clubs participated in the event, contributing to a day filled with sportsmanship and camaraderie.
Nicola Benedetti, President of the Canottieri Garda Salò Society, emphasized the importance of the event as the first appointment of the 2025 season, highlighting the educational and inclusive value of sports. The event not only served as an opportunity for young athletes to test themselves but also to learn fundamental values such as fairness and teamwork. The Canottieri Garda Salò Society continues its commitment to promoting various sports disciplines and encouraging young people to engage with the world of sports.
