The 1000 Miglia, a famous car race that dates back to 1927, continues to attract enthusiasts from all over the world. This year, over 400 vintage cars built between 1927 and 1957, from more than 30 countries, will participate in this iconic regularity race.
On Saturday, June 15th, the city of Salò will be the protagonist of an extraordinary event thanks to the joint efforts of the Municipal Administration, the Pro Loco Città di Salò, and the Salò Promotion Merchants Association. From 11:30 am to 4:00 pm, the 1000 Miglia caravan will cross the city streets, passing through the Lungolago and the eighteenth-century historic center.
The collaboration between local institutions is crucial for the success of the event. Giampiero Cipani, representative of the Municipal Administration, Nicola Tranquilli, President of the Pro Loco Città di Salò, and Andrea Maggioni, President of the Salò Promotion Merchants Association, are well aware of the importance of this event for the city. Salò, decorated in the theme of the 1000 Miglia, with shops open during the passage of the crews, will offer an unforgettable experience to visitors and participants from all over the world.
The previous editions of 2021 and 2022 saw thousands of people flock to Salò, and this year an even greater success is expected. The event represents a great opportunity for promotion for the local landscape and businesses, allowing the nearly four hundred crews to admire the city in all its beauty.
