On June 21st at 9:00 PM, the first of three concerts of the music festival “I Grandi Musicisti Salodiani” will take place, paying tribute to Marco Enrico Bossi, at the Sala dei Provveditori in the Municipal Palace of Salò.
The concert, organized by artistic director Federico Franchini, will feature pianist Fabio Mancini and the Quartetto del Lago, composed of Elena Ciccarelli (violin I), Elena Marré (violin II), Alessandro Gallina (cello), and Federico Franchini himself (double bass).
The program includes performances of some of Marco Enrico Bossi’s most famous works, including:
– Walzer op. 93 n. I
– Babillage – Geplauder op. 122 n. V
– Berceuse – Wiegenlied op. 122 n. VIII
– Valse Charmante op. 122 n. VII
– Canzoncina a M.V.
In addition, the renowned Clair de lune from Claude Debussy’s Suite Bergamasque will be performed.

The festival will continue on July 19th with a concert dedicated to Buono Chiodi and Ferdinando Bertoni at the internal cloister of Mu.Sa. in Salò, and on August 23rd with a tribute to Gasparo da Salò, also in the internal cloister of Mu.Sa. In case of rain, the concerts will be held in the Sala dei Provveditori in the Municipal Palace.
