The Remiera di Toscolano Maderno participated in the 9th International Women’s Health Day, promoted by Atena Donna. The event, called “Fiume e lago in rosa” (River and Lake in Pink), consists of a regatta that takes place in 36 Italian locations as the opening of a week dedicated to prevention.
The objective of the initiative is to encourage all women to take care of their health through prevention. For this reason, the participants were given a bracelet with the slogan “#concentratisullatuasalute” (focus on your health), made by the association Made in carcere.
In the Gulf of Maderno, fourteen women from the Brescia Riviera Park took part in the event. Wearing pink shirts, they boarded a dragon boat provided by the president of Remiera di Toscolano, Paolo Rosina, and had fun paddling in the waters. Afterwards, they returned to the former horse racing field to take a group photo.
The initiative involved numerous women who demonstrated their commitment to promoting women’s prevention.
