A new episode of thefts in Padenghe has struck the Bliss pizzeria, which fell victim to a nighttime break-in last Monday. This marks the third attack on the establishment in a year, resulting in significant damages estimated at around 13,000 euros, against a modest haul of only 200 euros taken from the cash register. The owner, Matteo Zanelli, reported that the thieves arrived in a white Alfa Romeo Giulietta and acted swiftly, forcing their way in and smashing the automatic cash register.
Following the incident, the owners immediately filed a report with the carabinieri, indicating that it could be the work of a gang operating in the area, which is also responsible for recent thefts in Desenzano and Sirmione. The restaurant’s security cameras captured the movements of the criminals, who were dressed in dark clothing to conceal their faces. Despite the alert triggered during the break-in, by the time law enforcement arrived, the thieves had already fled.
