The ticket office for the winners’ concert of the 30th edition of the “Riccardo Zandonai” International Competition for Young Opera Singers has officially opened in Riva del Garda. The event, which will take place on Saturday, July 6th at 9 pm in the courtyard of the Rocca, represents the culmination of a competition that saw the participation of young talents from over 30 countries.
The competition began on Monday, July 1st and will culminate with the opera concert of the winners. Tickets are available for 15 euros for adults and 10 euros for reduced categories (under 30, over 65, people with disabilities, and Crew Card holders). In case of adverse weather conditions, the event will be moved to the San Giuseppe auditorium in Largo Caduti delle Foibe 7.
In addition to the final concert, on Friday, July 5th at 8:30 pm, the “Audience Award” ceremony will take place at the Zandonai theater in Rovereto. This event is free of charge, offering a unique opportunity for enthusiasts and curious individuals to witness the celebration of the best talents selected by the audience.
For this special edition of the competition, a total of 31,000 euros in prizes have been established, divided as follows:
– “Mietta Sighele & Valerio Luchetti” special prize: 10,000 euros
– First prize: 8,000 euros
– Second prize: 5,000 euros
– Third prize: 3,000 euros
– “Riccardo Zandonai” prize: 5,000 euros
The “Riccardo Zandonai” International Competition for Young Opera Singers is promoted by the Musica Riva association, chaired by Luca Rizzardo Gianfilippi. This year, the association celebrates its forty years of activity. The artistic direction of the event is entrusted to Mietta Sighele, a renowned Trentino soprano known worldwide.
