With the arrival of the summer season, rescue interventions on Lake Garda are also increasing. This afternoon, two boaters were stranded in the waters between Limone and Riva del Garda, near the former Casa della Trota restaurant.
The operations center of the Coast Guard in Salò coordinated the rescue operations, which involved the intervention of a rescue jet ski and a motorboat from the fire department in Riva del Garda. The two tourists were rescued by a passing inflatable boat and transported to the Torbole Sailing Club.
Unfortunately, one of the two boaters was injured during the incident and it was necessary to call an ambulance to provide the necessary assistance. The State Police’s nautical team was also present at the scene.
It is important to remember that it is essential to respect safety regulations and pay attention to weather conditions during activities on the lake. In case of emergency, it is advisable to immediately contact the dedicated water rescue number.
