Benvegnù had recently been awarded the Targa Tenco for his album “È inutile parlare d’amore,” recognized as the “Best Overall Album,” making him stand out among the finalists of the 2024 edition.
Known for his contributions to Italian music, he founded the indie rock band Scisma in 1993, where he served as a composer, guitarist, and singer, producing three albums and winning the Premio Ciampi. His career was marked by successes and accolades, with eight nominations for the Targhe Tenco, underscoring his significance in the Italian music scene.
