Tourism around Lake Garda continues to thrive, despite a 5% decline in German visitors. During the “Visit Brescia” workshop held in Limone on October 17, positive signs emerged with the arrival of new clientele, including Arab tourists and young people from various countries such as Poland, the United States, and France. The meeting was attended by around twenty foreign delegates and focused on creating partnerships among local tourism operators.
The president of the Garda Lombardia Consortium emphasized that the lake serves as an “open-air gym” for outdoor sports activities, attracting a significant potential audience. Additionally, the mayor of Limone confirmed the diversification of the tourism market, with an increase in multi-ethnic visitors reflecting the dynamics of globalization. It is expected that the final numbers for the season will be on par with those of the previous year, with a slight overall growth.
