A violent road accident occurred along the SP11 in Desenzano del Garda yesterday, Saturday, November 30, involving three vehicles. A 51-year-old resident of Castiglione delle Stiviere, driving a Smart, sustained serious injuries and emergency services arranged for his urgent transport by helicopter to the Civile Hospital in Brescia, where he is currently hospitalized in critical condition.
According to initial investigations conducted by the local police of Desenzano, the accident was caused by a reckless overtaking attempt that resulted in a head-on collision with an Audi and a Golf coming from the opposite direction.
