A 27-year-old woman lost her life in a tragic car accident that occurred in Gavardo, along the SP45 bis, shortly after 2:30 am on June 30, 2024. The victim, driving an Audi A3 headed towards Salò, reportedly lost control of the vehicle while navigating a curve and crashed into the guardrail. The violent impact left her with no chance of survival, and despite the arrival of emergency services, including the medical car and ambulance from the Roè Volciano volunteers, there was nothing they could do but confirm her death.
The Fire Department and the Salò Traffic Police also intervened at the scene of the accident to carry out the necessary investigations. The road was temporarily closed to allow for rescue operations and investigations, reopening only around 7 am. This latest fatal accident once again highlights the danger of the roads in the province of Brescia, emphasizing the need for greater caution when driving.
