Recently, the Lake Garda area hosted a series of training sessions aimed at tourism sector operators, with the goal of enhancing tourist hospitality for visitors from emerging markets, particularly Arab and American tourism. Organized by the Lake Garda Lombardy Consortium in collaboration with the Lake Garda Tourism Observatory, these events will take place in Salò and Desenzano on March 20 and 21, and April 1 and 4. Expert speakers, including Prof. Wael Farouq and Prof. Amanda Clare Murphy from the Catholic University, will guide participants in understanding the specific cultural needs and habits of these tourists.
Stefania Lorenzoni, the newly appointed president of the Garda Lombardy Consortium, emphasized the importance of promoting the region internationally while also ensuring high-quality hospitality to provide tourists with a memorable experience. The training aims to equip operators with practical tools to better address the unique traditions of Arab and American visitors. Interested parties are invited to confirm their participation via an online form or by directly contacting the organizing office; it will also be possible to attend the meetings remotely through a link that will be provided after registration.
