The community of Tremosine will gather on Friday, October 4th, to bid farewell to Leonardo Osti, a twenty-year-old tragically lost in a road accident that occurred last Saturday in the Pieve district. A prayer vigil was held on Thursday evening at the church in Vesio, while the coffin will arrive at the same church at 11 AM on the day of the funeral, which will take place at 3 PM, followed by burial in the local cemetery.
The accident occurred six days ago on Viale Europa, when Leonardo, riding his enduro motorcycle, collided with a Volkswagen Tiguan that was merging onto the main road. Despite rescue efforts and subsequent transfer to the hospital in critical condition, the young man did not survive after three days of hospitalization. He leaves behind a grieving family, including his father Fabio, mother Mimma, and brother Loris.
