Vinitaly in the Lombardy Region with Students and Teachers from the Gardone Riviera Hospitality Institute took place today, March 27, featuring the active participation of students and faculty from the Caterina de’ Medici Hospitality Institute. Principal Marialuisa Orlandi emphasized the significance of the institute’s presence in the Lombardy regional lounge, where four students from the dining service, hailing from the schools in Gardone Riviera and Desenzano, were accompanied by teachers Luca Scamardella and Artur Vaso to manage the reception area within the pavilion.
The event concluded with a commemorative photo that included Lombardy officials alongside representatives from the Benaco institute. Among those present were teacher Artur Vaso, who was recognized as the best sommelier in Lombardy in 2017, Lombardy Region President Attilio Fontana, AIS sommelier Luisa Castellani, and Regional Agriculture Councillor Alessandro Beduschi, highlighting the educational and promotional value of the initiative for the participating students.
