A significant cultural event will take place on Sunday, November 24, 2024 at the Vittoriale Gardone Riviera, in the province of Brescia. During the day, renowned author and journalist Aldo Dalla Vecchia will present his book “Irresistibili. 70 Women Who Made the Small Screen Great,” a work that celebrates the female figures who have shaped the first seventy years of Italian television, from 1954 to the present day. The meeting is part of the OFF Program of the festival “L’Eredità delle Donne,” an initiative dedicated to female empowerment, and represents an important collaboration with the Festival Giallo Garda, which is celebrating its tenth anniversary this year.
The presentation will feature the participation of Laura Marsadri, president of the Festival Giallo Garda, and publisher Lorenzo Bernasconi. The book not only pays tribute to iconic figures of Italian television such as Maria De Filippi and Raffaella Carrà but also includes personal memories from the author about many of these influential women. The preface is written by Silvana Giacobini, a prominent figure in the Italian television landscape. This event presents a unique opportunity to reflect on the impact of women in the history of national television.
