Beatlestone in Gardone Riviera marks the opening of the mini festival “Waiting for Sounds and Flavors of Garda”, which will take place at Palazzo Wimmer, the former Casino on Corso Giuseppe Zanardelli. The event, free until seats are filled, will start on Saturday, May 4, 2024 at 5:30 PM and will continue for three consecutive Saturdays.
The first event of the festival will be the concert “Beatlestones”, a tribute to the two music icons, the Beatles and the Rolling Stones, who have defined the new boundaries of pop and rock, profoundly transforming the image of musical stars. Matteo Becucci, known for his unique voice, will be the protagonist of this evening, supported by the Infonote Pop Ensemble. The ensemble is composed of the Archimia string quartet, with artists of the caliber of Serafino Tedesi and Paolo Costanzo on violins, Matteo del Soldà on viola, and Andrea Anzalone on cello, in addition to Alessandro Zezza on keyboards, Marcello Salcuni on guitar, and Carmelo Isgrò on bass.
The series of events will continue on Saturday, May 11, with “Pietro al Moro”, a tribute to the courageous women who have had the courage to make their voices heard. Elena Giardina will lead this concert, once again accompanied by the Infonote Pop Ensemble.
The festival will conclude on May 18 with “Pop Memories”, an evening dedicated to the most beautiful and famous international pop songs, presented in a new and elegant way. Matteo Becucci will return as the main vocalist, supported by the Archimia string quartet.
This series of events not only offers the opportunity to listen to high-quality music in a unique setting but also represents a moment of cultural and social gathering, enhancing the artistic and historical heritage of Gardone Riviera.
