The mid and upper Garda area has recently been inundated with wooden debris due to the flooding of the Sarca River, the main tributary of the lake. Images show a vast area of the lake in front of the town of Limone, where the water has taken on a muddy color and appears river-like on the surface, with logs and debris visible both on the Brescia and Verona shores.
Local authorities, particularly the Salò Coast Guard Unit, have issued warnings to advise caution when navigating the affected waters. This event is significant not only for its environmental impact but also for the safety of boating activities in the area.
