On October 19 and 20, the district of San Michele, nestled among the mountains of Gardone Riviera, will host the “Festa del Boscaiolo,” an event dedicated to woodworking and outdoor activities. From 10 AM to 6 PM, the local sports field will feature artisan exhibitions, with master carver Gianluigi Zambelli creating a wooden sculpture of the Angel of San Michele. The event will also include participation from the Sculpture School, offering visitors the chance to closely observe the skills of the artisans.
The program includes a variety of additional activities, such as a free e-bike trial, the traditional game of Pincanello, and a guided walk on Sunday morning. For sports enthusiasts, the inaugural rugby match of the season between Benacum Rugby and Cinghiali del Setta will take place on Sunday at 2:30 PM. In addition to the events, there will be food stands featuring local specialties and stalls for gardening enthusiasts. It promises to be a weekend filled with tradition, fun, and nature.
