With the approval of the 2025 budget, the Municipality of Calcinato takes a significant step towards effective planning of local activities. The municipal administration, led by Mayor Vincenza Corsini, expressed great satisfaction with this achievement, emphasizing that it had not been possible to meet approval deadlines for the past four years. The mayor highlighted that this document serves as a fundamental foundation for ensuring quality services, which have already been in implementation since the beginning of the year, thanks to coordinated efforts among various departments and municipal offices.
The budget includes significant investments in specialized assistance for students with disabilities, with an increase of over 300,000 euros compared to the previous year. Furthermore, the IMU tax rates have been kept unchanged to ensure stability for taxpayers. Deputy Mayor Alessandro Moratti Freschi also announced measures to improve the management of tax assessments, aiming for an estimated recovery of 450,000 euros in 2025. This approach seeks to support the budget without placing an excessive burden on citizens, demonstrating how strategic planning can address future challenges in a context of reduced state transfers.
